Upcoming paving projects

North Street Paving Project
The state and PACTs are redoing section of North Street between the railroad tracks and Elm Street. The project will include:

  • Replacing the old concrete curbing with new concrete curb,
  • Resetting any of the existing granite,
  • Replacing 4 brick catch basins,
  • Grinding and a 2 inch overlay
The work has begun and will last through June 25th. The milling/ grinding and the paving will be done primarily at night. The milling work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 31 with the paving to commence soon after that work is completed.

Pending Maine Department of Transportation Projects for 2012 and 2013
  • Old Orchard Road - from Ferry Road to Timber Oaks
  • Bradley Street - from Franklin Street to Spring Street
  • North Street - from Lund Road to the Middle School
