The Biddeford-Saco Chamber of Commerce is partnering the City of Saco this year with its 7th Annual Business and Employment Expo. In addition to the traditional business networking, the 2011 focus is to try to connect potential employees to employers. Many regional businesses with staffing needs will be among the over 100 businesses participating. Other sponsoring partners are the City of Biddeford, the Biddeford Saco Area Economic Development Corporation, Goodwill Workforce Solutions, and the Career Center of the Maine Department of Labor, who has been a key organizer of the event.

The event will be held from 10 noon to 6 p.m., Wednesday, September 21, at the SportsZone, 400 North Street. There is no charge for admission. If you are seeking employment, bring your pen and your resume and meet with dozens of employers.
