Communication Plan 2012 Calendar

The Pepperell Post Newsletter includes 4 or 5 weekly updates on the home page highlighting a department throughout the year. Each department will be responsible for taking the lead on an 8 to 10- page newsletter including 4 stories with graphics and photographs. Each writer will be responsible for a 200-word story. Each of the City's board and Commissions will be provided an opportunity to contribute one 200-word story during the year. In an effort to keep the news 'fresh' if the Department is scheduled for a particular month, say February, the information is due to the Editor by the 15th of January to insure enough time to edit the information and additionally to keep the month of the newsletter current to the date it is published. Departments may exchange a story with another department to address a timely issue.

The newsletter will include items of great interest for the month regardless of department. The Newsletter may include a personnel update like new board and commission appointments, outstanding achievements and citations as well as new hires and separations from employment.

Departments are encouraged to use video, powerpoints, photography, and any other interesting and entertaining way to present your month's information in the Post. Videos will be linked to YouTube.
