First Annual Performance Report Delivery of City Services
Fiscal Year 2004 (July 1, 2003-June 30, 2004)

This is the City of Saco's first annual report on performance of city government. The report contains information on the basic scope of operations, the key goals, and the level of accomplishment, for a majority of the City's service delivery departments. The report also includes the results of the 2004 Citizen Survey, which provides an assessment of Saco's overall governmental performance from the citizens' point of view. The purpose of this report is to provide citizens, council members, and city staff with information on performance in order to:

• Improve public accountability,
• Assist citizens, council members and city staff in decision making, and
• Help improve the delivery of public services.

A copy of this report can be:

• Seen at and/or printed from the city website,
• Seen at the Dyer Public Library, or
• Obtained for a fee in hard copy from the City Clerk's office.
