Saco's citizen police academy
This fall, in an effort to build a stronger bond with our community, we will provide citizens with an opportunity to learn more about their police department by holding our first Citizen Police Academy.

The school will consist of eight consecutive weeks of interesting training classes involving demonstrations in and out of the classroom where student participation will be encouraged and welcomed. These classes will include instructions in topics such as emergency vehicle operation, community policing efforts, traffic enforcement initiatives and criminal investigations to name a few.

Applications are available at the front desk of the police department, by calling our administrative line 282-8214 and asking for Lori, or by downloading via our web site at www.sacomaine.org/departments/police.

Call me for further information.

Charles M. Labonte
Deputy Chief of Police
282-8214
