What's new on the website?
Below you'll find a list of recent additions to the City of Saco website, as well as some timely favorites:
- Keeping up with paving
Summer's here and you know what that means -- roadwork. We apologize for the inconvenience of dealing with paving delays and in the hope of helping you plan a bit, you can follow the link above for a schedule to upcoming paving projects in the city.
- Saco program featured on Fox News
Saco's innovative "work for taxes" program was featured recently on Fox News. For view the video, just go to the home page and look for the link to the video.
- Changes in the Police Department
There's lots happening at the Saco Police Department. For the latest on new patrol officers and other news, including Challenge Coin recipients, just follow the link above.
- Election page
It's still summer, but the fall election isn't that far off. We've set up a page for voters to learn about upcoming issues and candidates. We'll be adding to this throughout the fall. The City Clerk's page is also an excellent place to find out what ward you live in and what you need to do to register to vote.
- Fall soccer
And, as long as we're mentioning fall, it's time for fall soccer. The Parks and Recreation Department has schedules and rosters for grades 1 - 6. You can also learn about program updates, as well as game cancellations on this page.
- Free air conditioner
But before we get too carried away planning for fall, it's still summer -- and still hot! Need an air conditioner? There's one for free on the Saco Swap Shop. Check it out, but fast! You'll also find a lawmower, which will probably come in handy for a few more weeks at least.
