What's new on the website?
Below you'll find a list of recent additions to the City of Saco website, as well as some timely favorites:
  • Election time
    The state primary election will be held Tuesday, June 8. All wards will vote at the Saco Community Center, 75 Franklin Street. For more information, see the Primary Election page

  • Hurricane Season begins
    Hurricane season began officially this month and forecasters are predicting more storms than usual, some of which may reach the northeast coast. Residents should begin preparing for the possibility of home damage and power outages. More information may be found at our 2010 hurricane season awareness campaign page.

    Get rid of that old television for FREE
    If you've got an old television or computer equipment cluttering your attic, basement or garage, you have an opportunity to dispose of it for free on June 12. On that day, area residents can bring their old electronics to the Saco Public Works department at 351 North Street. More information about what can and cannot be disposed of may be found by following the link above.

    Summer paving projects
    With summer official underway, work on streets and roads around the city has begun in earnest. We'll be posting information about ongoing projects on the page above.

  • Pay bills ONLINE, not INLINE
    No one likes waiting in line, especially not to pay a bill. Don't forget, you can pay your city real estate and personal property tax bills online, as well as some utility bills. Just follow the link above.

  • Free bicycle
    If you've been thinking about taking up bicycling this summer, here's an opportunity -- a free women's bicycle on the Saco Swap Shop. Just follow this link.

  • Saco Help Desk
    Got a problem? Need to answer a question? Check out the brand new Help Desk System. In an effort to better serve the citizens of Saco, we've create a single place where people can look for answers to their questions or submit a request for help. You'll get a reply within one business day and you'll be able to follow progress of your request through this system.
