Below you'll find a list of recent additions to the City of Saco website, as well as some timely favorites:

• Cancellations, field changes, etc.
  Up to date information about changing conditions at Parks and Rec facilities, or cancellations of programs may be found in the scrolling ticker on top of the Parks and Recreation Department home page. Just follow the link above.
  
  
• Community Garden update
  It has been a fantastic summer for gardening and the Community Garden has done very well. For updates (including information on potential pest problems), be sure to check the link above.
  
  
• Quick-thinking rescuer
  A woman is honored by the Saco Police Department for her role in rescuing three people whose boat capsized while fishing on a pond in the Industrial Park.
  
  
• 2009 Annual Report
  The Annual Report for the City of Saco is available online by following the link above.
  
  
• Nomination papers
  If you are interested in running for one of two RSU #23 Board of Education positions in the upcoming November election, you'll need to file nomination papers by August 27. For more details, call the City Clerk's office at 284-4831
  
  
• Fire station progress
  Work is progressing on the new central fire station on North Street. If your travels don't take you past the work site on a regular basis, you can see the latest photos on the city photo gallery
  
  
• Pay bills ONLINE, not INLINE
  No one likes waiting in line, especially not to pay a bill. Don't forget, you can pay your city real estate and personal property tax bills online, as well as some utility bills. Just follow the link above.
  
  
• Kids table
  Would your kids like their very own table outside, just like the big people? There's a free one on the Saco Swap Shop. Just follow this link.
  
  
• Saco Help Desk
  Got a problem? Need to answer a question? Check out the brand new Help Desk System. In an effort to better serve the citizens of Saco, we've create a single place where people can look for answers to their questions or submit a request for help. You'll get a reply within one business day and you'll be able to follow progress of your request through this system.
